Unvoiced TH Sound
“Kathy thanked both theo and thelma for everything.”
challenge your self to say this sentence ,it has many th of sounds.Don’t worry if you practice more on it you can get it.
To sound the TH you need to use the upper teeth and lower teeth and your mouth between them.when you blow the air ,it is going to pass over your tongue and under. It is important when you practice to do it slowly but if you want to do it fast make sure that your tongue in the right position.
ok lets practice these words:
Think,Thank,thin,thick,thought,theme,Thursday
Author,everything,something,nothing
Both,teeth,path,math,south,mouth.
Month,tenth,thirteenth,wealth,health
A little more challenging for people are words with r plus th : Three, throw, throat. if you find these words hard just slow it down even you break it up. th\ree,th\row,th\roat.
you may also have r and th at the end : earth, north
Length : is how long some thing is
width : is how wide some thing is
depth : to measure how dept it is.
if you want to wish someone his birthday you have to say that in right sound.
There is another categorie of TH Sound called “Voiced” for exemple : The,This, smooth, then, although,That. In this cases “TH” sounds like “d” is not sound like “Unvoiced” TH.

I remember one day I made an appointment with my teacher on Thursday but I didn’t pronounce the TH good , so he taught I said Tuesday .That was misunderstanding because my pronunciation was bad .so you should pay attention to the right sound.
