EXERCISE 2

ANSWERS

Right now, William is sitting with his friend. They are discussing the differences between life in United

states and life in Morocco. I do not know the real name of his friend, but everybody just calls him Abdu.

Abdu speaks English very well and he is trying to teach William some words in Berber. Every time Abdu

says a new word, William tries to repeat it. Unfortunately, William also seems to have difficulty learning foreign languages. I just hope we don’t get lost and have to ask for directions.

I am currently walking with kelly, a student from International Language Institute .She is a nice girl, but

impatient. She always walks ahead of me and he complains that I am too slow.

I am doing my best to keep up with her, but she is younger and stronger than I am. Maybe, I am just feeling sorry for myself because I am getting old.
